Lesson 2-Nafs Awareness

Let's review universe facts to understand ourselves better. When we look out we see creaures of a variety of colors, scents, weight, depth, height, volume and so on and so forth. 

Some of them are called objects having characteristics like weight, mass, length, width, and height. 

Moreover, some other creatures are called plants characterising the above mentioned ones plus growth. 

Some other creatures having both features of objects and plants plus feelings and emotions are named animals. 

Human being has all of the above mentioned features yet privileges one more trait which is " knowledge, awareness, and wisdom".

What is this characteristics which merely human being takes advantage of it?

How do we understand its existance?

The pen which is held by you and me; the shirt which is worn by you and me; chair, table, TV, and a lot others are built by knowledge, the power of thought and wisdom. If knowledge dosen't exist, no product come to existance. Consequently, knowladge privilages all other features.

There is some thing in us which doesn't exist in other creatures.

What is it?

What is its quality?

Does it have length, width, depth and height? 

Or is it some thing non-material?
